Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
MailGuard provides consultancy and support services for individuals and businesses seeking to recover funds from mail fraud, claim compensation for lost or damaged parcels, and access secure delivery or insurance services for high-value items.
MailGuard is not a law firm and does not offer legal advice. In some cases, we may refer or instruct solicitors, enforcement officers, or other regulated professionals on your behalf.
2. Services Offered
MailGuard offers the following services:
-
Mail Fraud Recovery: Investigation, evidence review, correspondence drafting, and claims handling with third parties (e.g., couriers, platforms, banks, or sellers).
-
Postage Insurance: Optional coverage for parcels, covering loss, theft, or damage, subject to claim approval and proper documentation.
-
Private Postage Services: In-person collection and delivery of high-value items by MailGuard staff, with tracking and handover confirmation.
Details of each service, including eligibility, limitations, and pricing, are available on our website or will be outlined upon claim submission.
3. Claim Submission & Accuracy
To use our services, you must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information. You are responsible for ensuring all documentation (including receipts, correspondence, tracking numbers, and evidence) is correct and up to date.
We reserve the right to decline any claim we believe to be fraudulent, incomplete, or outside the scope of our services.
4. Fees and Payment
-
Mail Fraud Recovery: Our typical fee is 17.5% of the total amount recovered. After you submit a claim, we will assess your case and provide a custom quote. You will not be charged without prior agreement.
-
Private Postage and Insurance: These are priced individually based on distance, declared value, urgency, and risk. All fees will be quoted before the service is provided.
-
No Win, No Fee: Some services are offered on a “no win, no fee” basis. This means you only pay if we recover funds. Terms may vary depending on case type and complexity.
All payments are due within 7 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Client Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
-
Cooperate promptly and provide all requested documents and information
-
Not misrepresent or withhold material facts
-
Inform us immediately if the issue is resolved independently
Failure to do so may result in termination of service and/or administrative fees.

-
Delays caused by third parties (e.g. couriers, banks, courts, solicitors)
-
Losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete client information
-
Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
