How it works
At MailGuard, we take a structured, evidence-based approach to recovering money lost through mail fraud or delivery scams. Once a claim is submitted, we review the case details and gather supporting evidence such as tracking information, payment records, and communications. We then cross-reference the data against our internal fraud databases, allowing us to identify known scam patterns, repeat offenders, and suspicious addresses. This intelligence helps us act quickly and strategically on your behalf. From there, we coordinate directly with banks, marketplaces, courier companies, and where appropriate, the police or Action Fraud. If informal resolution doesn’t work, we escalate the matter legally — instructing solicitors to file civil claims against the fraudster. In cases where a judgment is awarded but not paid, we go further by instructing bailiffs or High Court enforcement officers to recover the debt. It’s a full recovery process, built to give you the best possible chance of getting your money back.
Our fees
We operate on a fair and transparent pricing model. Our typical fee is 17.5% of the total amount recovered, with no upfront costs for most claims. After you file your claim, we’ll review your case and get in touch with a personalised quote based on the complexity and value of the claim. You’ll always know the cost before we proceed — no hidden fees, no surprises.
